1. Materials and reasons
The materials I chose were white charcoal, black charcoal and gray toned paper.

Gray can also be used as a transitional color between black and white, making the picture more uniform and making the whole work look like a whole.
The production of charcoal pen also made me think that this material is very relevant to my theme. Charcoal is usually made from the fine branches of wicker. This process happens to be like a positive normal person with a soul. When suffering from mental illness, it slowly becomes withered and becomes a hollow without soul.
