Artifact and Naming forum

For the first week of class, as you introduce yourself, please select one artifact (jewelry, sports equipment, trinket, family heirloom, etc.) that represents or symbolizes an important relationship(s) in your life. Post a photo of the item or describe it clearly in your introductory post. This assignment will be a starting point for identifying important relationships, patterns and commonality of relationship experiences, and serve as a jumping off point for the course. Along with your artifact, also research the history, meaning, and origin of your name and post that information in your introduction as well. If possible, find out if you were named after anyone, and why/how your parents selected your name.

All about my name

My is Emmanuel, the name was given to me by a white Doctor. When my mother gave birth to me, the doctor saw these white stars over me, and she said, he will be a great man of God. The name Emmanuel means God is with us.
