· To summarize key learning points from journal articles related to OL and KM

· To articulate ways that students will apply key learning points to their own work

Assignment Requirements

Select an article based on the topic in which you have the greatest interest and desire to learn more

Write a four-page summary (double-spaced) of the article

Be sure to answer the following questions in your summary:

· What research question were the authors seeking to answer?

· How did they conduct research? (note: in some articles, research is not primary research, but rather a review of literature or other research projects)

· What results did they achieve and what conclusions did they draw?

· What recommendations would you make to HR professionals in the fields of OL and KM based on these findings?*

*This last question requires you to go beyond what is stated in the article and to provide your own thoughts about what is important to the field of HR in the article, specifically OL and KM.
