I need help writing my article summary

Article Summary The main focus of this article is democracy and the voting system in America and how it has

deviated from what our founding fathers intended it to be. They wanted to stray away from

political parties but with time people began to elect candidates for their political party and not

because they were strong candidates, and due to this there is a lot of corruption and not a lot of

change. The author's purpose is to educate and remind the reader of what democracy was

intended to be and what is has become over time, he talks about Americans belief in the future

but veneration for the past. He also proved many examples from other authors work on the same

topic along with a comparison between the U.S and British political system. The image provided

also helps portray his view of the disagreements and divide in U.S politics which impede growth

and change.
