The article presents important findings thought out the article. The article indicates that urban students mostly are faced with difficulties when it comes to affiliate with others and the whole learning process. The sport for peace curriculum findings indicated a scenario where it fostered learning shared responsibility, the aspect of trust, and family responsibility which was brought out by a sense of belonging. The findings also indicate the positivity, and the feeling of success in boys and girls who were either low or high skilled which enhanced the creation of a class community which promoted a conducive environment creation for both participation and effective engagement. The analysis of findings on the data observed during phase I made a suggestion that the soccer unit which was being taught at each school had a reflection of exposure characteristic approach towards physical education that was based on sports. The article also presents a finding regarding the development of student affiliation with their team members which is established as a family that is often unusual with subject to urban schools (Ennis et al., 1999).
The article makes a representation of various educational leadership implications. Educational leaders should be able to undertake rules modification which would consequently enhance the student enjoyment ability promoting participation and engagement. The educational leaders should also pose the capability of conflict negotiation incorporation in their various sectors. Thus, they should be able to determine when to intervene in conflict negotiations or when to permit educational team members to be able to resolve conflicts on their own. Educational leaders should be able to treat both their teams and their members, respectively. Consequently, they would be having a reward for positive attention that would include attentiveness and effort. These strategies could inform their work through increased engagement and participation, respect, effort and attentiveness and the aspect of positive attention (Ennis et al., 1999).
In my opinion, with regards to the article, I think the most significant thing is the modification of rules. This would promote both engagement and participation. Equality and respect for team members are also crucial in achieving a desirable outcome. Conflict resolution is among the key aspect in every single sector. I strongly feel having a positive engagement, and participation consequently leads to the development of an affiliation which would be crucial in community development that would translate to family. The aspect of positive support, effective teaching and leadership, and thoughtful decision making are the fundamental elements for one to gain respect (Ennis et al., 1999).
