Article Critique 2
Step One
Search for an article about recruitment via Google Scholar, by remotely accessing resources housed at the Northwestern State University library, or by finding some other credible, research-based source of information. The topic of recruitment is required for any article you choose, but the article does not have to be exclusively about recruitment. It may include ideas about additional, related human resources topics/issues, like selection (chapter 4 of your text), placement (chapter 5 of your text), and induction (chapter 5 of your text). The topics of selection, placement, and induction do not necessarily comprise an all-inclusive list of related human resources issues.
Step Two
Once you have found an appropriate article, do the following:
1. Post that article as an attachment to the discussion forum, if possible, and/or provide a link to the article, if possible.
2. In the discussion forum, provide the title of the article, the source of the article, and a descriptive summary of the article for your fellow students to read to decide if they would like to read the full article.
3. Additionally, be sure to include a paragraph explaining why you think reading this particular article would be beneficial to a student in a human resources educational leadership class.
4. Following the summary and explanation of why, pose two thought-provoking questions for students to respond to if they decide to post their own response to your original submission. Please note that when you respond to two other students’ work this week, the responses will be to the original questions posed.
