At the museum, you will be required to find two artworks that relate to or remind you of

artworks we have studied in class. You will provide information and observations about the two

works you choose from your museum visit, and will compare and contrast each one to an

example of a related artwork that we studied in class.

In total, you will be discussing four artworks: two that you find on your museum visit,

and two that we have studied in this class.

Your paper must include the following:

Three double-spaced typed pages (use 12 pt font), not including pictures and bibliography.

In-depth analysis of each of the two artworks you chose from the museum and in-depth

discussion of how each artwork relates to a different artwork that we studied in class. Compare

the artworks from the museum to the artworks on class based on how they look, their style, their

subject matter, and their historical context. Use at least three reputable sources for research here

(your required readings are ok to use, or outside readings if you wish).

A conclusion paragraph that ties the paper together and includes your opinions about the

artworks you saw and how your experience seeing art in person was different that seeing it

online.

A bibliography that documents your research sources. (Additionally, any paraphrasing or quoting

should be cited with the text of the paper).

* Proof of attendance at the museum in the form of a ticket stub or a museum selfie is included.

* Three reputable research sources are used in the paper
