Should Anyone Be Above the Law

Thesis Statement: No one should be above the law. All punishment for all crimes should be the same regardless of your position in life.

1st paragraph: Black men are punishment has shown to be harsher than their white counterparts.

2nd paragraph: Those that tend to have more money are allowed to go home, in lu of jail time, to wait for their trials and sentencing. Where those that may not have money or proper legal counsel will have to sit in jail for extended periods of time until their trial.

3rd paragraph: Politician, lawyers, and other top people will not have to do anytime at all for their crimes. Some often will get community service or pay restitution.
