1. Please breifly describe what your app does? 

Find the Pet is a website where users can post lost and found pets, as well as view or place pet adoptions, to help rehome stray animals. Our home page is a forum, users can easily fill out the forms and after they submit, they will get an email about the information. The information will be send to the admin as well, the request will be post within hours, and admin will search for previous posts to see if we can find the pet for the user.

Other than lost and found, view or place pet adoptions, we also have tips pages. These pages help users claim down and teach them that they should do if they lost/found a pet. We have 11 tips which include all kinds of pet. We have teach the user how to make poster and we have different types of characters(?) such as shy pet or brave pet. 

Our mission is to promote animal welfare and reduce the number of street animals by giving access to a simple, free website that all ages can use.

2. What inspired you to create this app? *

I found my cat on the street, helpless, injured, and abandoned. I brought her home and searched for websites that could rehome her, but many required details I can’t provide as a minor. I made this website to make the process of rehoming pets easier and more accessible to all people. 

The British Veterinary Association has warned breeding of Scottish fold cats should stop because of health concerns, but people are still forcibly breeding them because they are profitable. They are weak and susceptible to illness because of their genetic disadvantages. I believe Cotton’s previous owner abandoned her because she was dying and it would have been expensive to treat her since she’s a Scottish fold cat. I don’t want other animals to have the same fate; I wish for all animals to have a happy, safe home.

3. What improvements would you make if you were to create a 2.0 version of your app? *
