Applying for Argosy Graduate Program Summer 2018 Atlanta

My interest is to pursue a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

I’m currently pursuing an undergrad degree in psychology Bachelors in Art

I’ve worked for a nonprofit for the last six and half years as a family support partner to families in the wraparound program. I also work as a behavior aid and community support service worker. I have lived experienced from childhood trauma, parent with mental illness and my daughter challenged with depression. I went through a process of forgiving those who hurt me as a child and forgiving myself for not having a loud enough voice. As a result, psychology is second nature to me because it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m in my last year of undergrad in the psychology program. I’ve been recently accepted in MAP (Master Accelerated Program) and my focus is Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Later I plan to pursue a doctrine but I’m still meditating on what I should focus on in that area. I’m also a certified life coach and recently released my first self-published book of affirmations. I look forward to this class because it’s another piece of the puzzle I need to be successful in this field of psychology.

I wrote a book Be Happy & Be YOU bit.ly/behappybeyoubook
