Task:

With reference to a real-world company create a data-based story telling presentation that:

1. tells a data driven story about how your chosen organisation/business makes use of data analytics to gain a competitive advantage/cutting edge over other rival organisations/businesses that it competes with

2. makes use of any relevant graphics and data presented in graphs

For example, you could consider how Starbucks uses analytics to help it to choose the best (i.e. most profitable) locations for its branches, or how Tiktok uses analytics to work out what videos to present to it users to help maximise its advertising revenue or how Brentford F.C. uses data analytics to inform its transfers of football players.

Formalities:

· You may want to include images/graphics etc. (for example from their website) to make your reasoning and argumention more visual and explicative

· Font: Arial. Size: 12,5pts. Line spacing: 1,5. Text align: Justified.

· Appendices and References, do not count towards the final wordcount but are strongly recommended (referencing websites, articles, books etc.)

· Word limit is between 1,500 to 2,000 words
