This first part of the report is called the “Introduction” section, yet it does not have a heading that says “Introduction.” Instead, the title of the paper shows in the Running Head. In this introduction, you identify the business and provide a very brief description of the business.

Mission Statement

Mission Statement is a Major Heading, as included in the outline. I am indenting the first line of the paragraph. Just hit the Tab key. The file is formatted to double space lines of text, which is part of APA Style. In this section, you provide the mission statement and explain what this statement means to employees and to customers.

Strategic Goals

Under this Strategic Goals major heading, you write about one strategic goal you have located and how this goal relates to the mission statement.

SWOT Analysis

In this section, you identify one point in a SWOT Analysis. List the points here and then provide a brief explanation for each point under these Second Level Headings.

Strength

Describe the strength you identified.

Weakness

Describe the weakness you identified.

Opportunity

Describe the opportunity you identified.

Threat

Describe the threat you identified.

Organizational Structure

The Major Heading is Organizational Structure. Identify the type of structure you believe this company has: Divisional, Functional, or Matrix. Explain your decision.

Conclusion

Based upon what you have researched about this company, do you believe this business is a learning organization? Support your opinions and conclusions.
