Marketing Objectives
Marketing aims at impacting advertising, client experience, branding as well as business operations. It is objective as an integral entity in a holistic market and the company needs to strategize to attain maximum benefits. For instance, in the Apple Company whose product line of interest is a wireless charging device, the company ought to focus on speaking to the audience, attracting high-quality leads, and differentiating the brand from competitors, improving products and services as well as staying focused. These objectives will help the company attain its set goals and achieve its vision.
Marketing should aim at attracting and converting good quality leads that impact advertising positively. Addressing the targeted clients directly generates the right people for a particular product or service. Apple’s marketing strategy thus aims at attracting possible buyers of its wireless charging device that does not require an external cable in charging iPhones. Connecting to the right audience would thus mean that Apple Company gets quality referrals, consequently, realizing higher sales.
Apple’s marketing strategy also aims at differentiating its brand from the wireless charging device. This objective restricts the company from focusing on a certain group of its target market which helps the company outshine its competitors operating in the same industry. Buyers often tend to identify with brands that have unique marketing techniques thus choosing the products of the outstanding brand over the competitor’s (Cuneo et al., 2019). Buyers can thus identify with Apple’s wireless charging device compared to other devices form the company’s competitors. Since Apple has created brand awareness, customers relate with the wireless device at a more personal level and as a result, improved customer relationships and loyalty.
Constant improvements in the quality of products and services is another marketing objective. A good understanding of the customers’ needs and preferences helps the company keep the quality of its products in check. By understanding the needs of the target audience, Apple Company is in a better position to improve the features of the wireless charging device. For instance, Apple’s marketing strategy has helped the company understand its customers’ needs of having the wireless charging device to accommodate more than one device. The company is thus working on ensuring that the device can charge multiple electronics at the same time. This marketing objective ensures frequent adjustments to the quality of products to suit user specifications.
Staying focused on the company’s vision is another marketing objective. Apple’s marketing strategy, like any other company, focused on growth, advocates for the attainment of the company’s goals. Providing the wireless charging device improves the customer’s experience as stated in the company’s mission. Also, marketing the device aligns with the company’s vision of making great products while focusing on innovation. Apple’s marketing thus keeps the company focused on its goals and vision.
Further Research
The wireless charging device is only limited to one device at a time as well as specific apple products thus the need for further research to accommodate more devices. Using Apple’s charging device, I would like to research more on the possibility of Apple modifying specifications to enable the charging of more than one device at a time. These modifications would make it possible for charging multiple devices at a go especially with other Apple products such as the Apple Watch, iPhone smart devices, and air pods, before trying it on other similar brands. Also, making the charging device multifunctional on non-Apple products is another area of research. Modifying the product to suit several devices from different brands would broaden the customer base and consequently improve the sales volume. Such practices would help Apple have a competitive advantage over its competitors such as Samsung that have similar devices that are capable of charging one device each time. Conducting further research to address these issues would help Apple Company acquire more customers, improve sales, and be ahead of its competitors.
Target Markets
Charging devices is a vital aspect for businesses and individuals especially using the wireless charging connection. Apple is a multinational technology company that has positioned itself strategically to tap opportunities driven by high demand from different sectors. The wireless charging market is determined by individual consumers, being the largest market, and industrial sectors. Both segments are dependent on technology and geographical location.
Geographically, the demand for wireless charging devices is segmented depending on consumer demand in all the continents globally. With the increased use of mobile gadgets across the globe, Apple targets meeting the demand of the wireless chargers to all its customers worldwide. The Asia Pacific, however, has the highest number of electronic devices making it an ideal target market for wireless charging devices. Regionally, the United States has the largest market for wireless charging in industries. Thus, Asia Pacific constitutes the largest share of the market but Apple is determined to meet the needs of other consumers internationally.
The increase in industrial reliance on technology makes the industries a major target market for wireless charging devices. The inductive technology is mostly used in many industries due to its diversified use in all applications while the RF and resonant technologies continue to gain popularity in the wireless charging system. Apple thus targets diversifying the charging devices to accommodate several gadgets simultaneously to fully satisfy the industrial market.
