In this activity, you'll play the role of an editor helping to create an anthology of literature. You'll select one
story from "The Monk's Tale" for students to read, and you'll write an introduction that prepares them to
understand it. Your introduction will include an objective summary of the story, a short description of two
themes, and a short description of the story's poetic structure.

1. No one, no matter how strong, can escape fate 2. It is possible to cause one's own downfall by relying too much on strength they relate because everyone has their own fate and it is impossible to escape. Also, no matter what obstacles life throws at us, life must always continue. They also relate because it talks about strength in both themes. which means that fate is considered by the strength you put into your life.
