"The Monk's Tale" for students to read, and write an introduction that prepares them to understand it. The

introduction will explore the story's plot, its related themes, and its rhyme scheme and meter.

Your assignment should include the following elements:

A one-paragraph objective summary of the story

A one- or two-paragraph analysis of two related themes in the story

A one-paragraph description of the story's rhyme scheme and meter

Subheadings that label each section of the assignment

You should have completed a draft of this assignment in the activity before this one. If you haven't done so, go

Ask yourself these questions as you revise:
