Abstract
Type the abstract for the paper if required for the assignment or case study. For this course, there is no requirement to include an abstract page for assignments and case studies. You are required to include an abstract page in the Term Paper, however.
Notice that the Abstract text is not indented ½ inch as is required in typing paragraphs in the rest of your document. Also, on the Reference page (described later) you do not indent the first line of the reference by you do indent the remaining lines of the reference if the reference is longer than one line. This is called a hanging indent. More on this on the reference page.
This is the second paragraph and it follows the same form as the first paragraph. Remember the rules for paragraphs: double spacing for lines, 12-point Times Roman Font, and the first line begins indented ½ inch in from the left.
Level One Header-The text is Centered, Boldface, Uppercase and Lowercase Characters in the Level One Header (this should be the question from the assignment)
This is another paragraph of your text following a Level One Header. It should not be bold and should be typed as standard paragraphs are typed. Notice the indention of ½ inch on the first line and it is 12-point Times Roman type. You should include citations in the text of your paper and these should appear on your Reference list. This sample Template does not show citations, but sample formatting of references is shown on the Reference page of this template.
This is another paragraph and it follows the same form as the first paragraph. Remember the rules for paragraphs: double spacing for lines, 12-point Times Roman Font, and the first line begins indented ½ inch in from the left.
This is a Level Two Header: It is Flush Left, Boldface, Uppercase and Lower-Case Characters.
This is the first paragraph of your text following a Level One Header. It should not be bold and should be typed as standard paragraphs are typed. Notice the indention of ½ inch on the first line and it is 12-point Times Roman type.
This is another paragraph and it follows the same form as the first paragraph. Remember the rules for paragraphs: double spacing for lines, 12-point Times Roman Font, and the first line begins indented ½ inch in from the left.
There are additional level headers in an APA paper that can be used. This sample APA does not show these. You should refer to an APA manual if you need to include lower level headers in your APA paper.
You can insert figures and tables in your paper. Figures and Tables should have a number for the figure or table and a title. If the figure or table is extensive, it is best to include them in an Appendix of your paper. You can cite a figure in the text of your paper. When explaining a figure or table, only an overview of the respective material should be included.
