All source material is cited in the manuscript
Citation format:
a) Author as part of narrative: In his book Fast Food, Jones (2010) states that “…” (p. #).
b) Author not part of narrative: “Fast food has become...” (Jones, 2010, p. #).
c) Author quoted by another author: “It is your story” (Barth, as cited in George, 2015, p. 25).
Period follows the parenthesis, not the sentence quoted
Block quotations (long quotations of 40 or more words) are indented 1.25 cm (0.5 inch) from the left margin. They appear as a block quote, starting on a new line, without quotation marks. Double space the entire block quotation. Period follows the quote. Citation follows the period in parentheses with no period after the citation
For a work with one or two authors, include the author name(s) in every citation.
For a work with three or more authors, include the name of only the first author plus “et al.” for the first and any subsequent citations, i.e. (Goleman et al., 2013)
When using a second-hand source, cite both the primary and second-hand sources. For example: According to Ken Wu (as cited in Jones & Brown, 2010), “Mandarin is…” (p. #).
Do not use URLs in citations. If a source has no author, use abbreviated form of website name
If you refer to an author’s work more than once within a single paragraph (as long as the source cannot be confused with another source), include the author and year of publication for the first citation. The year can be omitted for subsequent citations within a single paragraph
It is plagiarism to use more than 5 direct words of an author without citing the source
References
The bibliographical information for sources used in the manuscript appears on a new page titled References (Centered, Bold, Title Case) after the manuscript text
All (and only) sources cited in the text are included in the references list
Reference list is arranged alphabetically according to the author’s surname
Each entry is double-spaced
Second line of each entry is indented 1.25 cm (0.5 inch). This is called a hanging indent
Include: Author [Last Name, F., & Last Name, F.). Date. Title. Source.
Author: Who is responsible for this work?
Date: When was this work published?
Title: What is this work called?
Source: Who published this work? Publisher location is not included.

Capitalize only the first letter of the first word of a title and proper nouns in the reference list (Sentence case).
If a colon appears in the title, capitalize the first letter of the word after the colon
Italicize works that stand alone: book titles, reports, webpages, websites, publication.
Do not italicize article titles. Do not put article titles in quotation marks (as you would within the body of your paper).
Bible and Classical Works: The 7th edition of the Publication Manual stipulates that reference list entries are not required when you cite ancient Greek and Roman works or classical religious works. Since these works are widely known and available, all that is required is an in-text citation
