3. Here is a closer look at an organization or website used by people in my field.

The National Business Association ( https://nationalbusiness.org ) is a good resource for people within my field of study. It provides access to webinars conducted by the Small Business Administration that provides useful information such as how to finance your business. There is also a section that pertains to U.S Patent and Trademark Administration. Resources for financing and writing business plans is also available. Articles related to business support is also beneficial. There is also a section dedicated to scholarship assistance. Within the site is a link that will direct business owners to the Internal Revenue Service. When starting or running a business, this information is vital. All the resources one needs in this field is either located directly on this site or within a link located in the site.

4. Describe things you found as you looked at an organization or website used by people in your field.

· Communication within the website was very formal and organized.

· The site contained resources useful to new and existing business owners.

· Additional links to other beneficial websites is also present within the pages.

· Information present within the website is primarily free of opinion or biased information.

5. Here are tips for communicating in this field of study.

Some suggestions that I have for communicating in this field is to do your research. Makes sure you are prepared and professional on your communications. Conduct as much research as possible by credible sources toy ensure you are knowledgeable and can answer any questions that may arise. Speak in a confident manner so that your audience can be confident about the information you are providing. Get to know your audience to avoid and issues that could be deemed culturally offensive. Make sure that the information that you provide is based on fact and not opinions.

Annotated Bibliography

The referenced book, “The Power of Virtual Distance,” provides 15 years of documented data in the topic of remote work. The authors provide the complications that arise within a remote working environment for both employees and management. However, they provide proven solutions that can make this environment more successful and productive. Both authors specialize in workforce transformation.

Sobel Lojeski, K., & Reilly, R. (2008). Uniting the virtual workforce transforming leadership and innovation in the globally integrated enterprise (1st edition). John Wiley & Sons.

Written by the same authors as the above reference, “Uniting the virtual workforce transforming leadership and innovation in the globally integrated enterprise (1st edition),” taps into solutions and benefits of how remote workforces can promote growth and be a substantial economic benefit for organizations. Both resources will support my argument pertaining to continuing the virtual workforce post pandemic.

Final Paper

This is where you will fully develop the ideas you have been building throughout the course. Below shows an easy and effective way to organize your essay. You should delete these highlighted words before you submit your paper. If you prefer to delete the subtitles as well, check with your instructor first to see what he/she prefers.

Tip: Do not be intimidated by the word count requirement. If you write between 150-167 words per section, you will be in the desired range.

Introduction

Introduce your topic. Lead up to your claim. Try to include the words “should” or “should not” in your claim to ensure that it is argumentative. Underlining your claim is helpful. Example: In the event of any pandemic, such as the recent COVID crisis, K-12 schools should be conducted virtually until the pandemic is over and a vaccination is available to all.

Background

Provide a brief history of your topic. This is a good place to answer some of the questions listed in the instructions. What is the problem being addressed (explain, describe, and “prove” that it exists)? Who is affected by this problem? Why does this problem exist (identify the root causes)? Why does the problem persist? (Identify the major factors that contribute to the problem’s ongoing presence.)

Side A

This is where you will present YOUR side of the argument (in third person). Example topic sentence: Due to the many safety and health concerns caused by face-to-face instruction, virtual learning is the obvious solution during a pandemic. INCLUDE RESEARCH AND CITATIONS. This might be a good place to answer, “what is at stake if the problem is not solved?”

Side B

This is where you will present THE OTHER side of the argument, the counterargument (in third person). Example topic sentence: Despite the dangers of schools meeting face-to-face, some insist that virtual education is not the solution. INCLUDE RESEARCH AND CITATIONS.

Possible Solutions

In this paragraph, you could answer: Who can take action? What should they do, exactly? Why would this help? What are the positive and negative aspects of your solution(s)? How do the positives outweigh the negatives and “win” in the end? INCLUDE RESEARCH AND CITATIONS.

Conclusion

Restate your claim in slightly different way. Summarize and bring your essay to a satisfying finish. Write a full paragraph, no less than one hundred words.
