APA Template -Note this page is informational – Please delete it from any submitted work.
Class, this document is a mini-APA template. As you work on your assignments, you should follow the APA formatting as I have created it here. Use Headings to emphasize main topics discussed. Be sure to cite all of your sources parenthetically in the body of your paper at the point where the citation supports your statement. and provide references at the end of your papers, alphabetically by author last name.
APA Elements
· Use the APA style of Title Page .
· Use the running head and title formatting (notice they are different between page 1 and the remainder.)
· Use a 10-12 point font (APA says Times or something similar – I actually prefer, Arial or Tahoma, personally, at 11 or 12 point type .)
· Double space your work.
· You will use references; please cite them. This is an APA requirement – each reference must have a corresponding citation. This provides credence to your work. It supports your opinions.
· Use this document as a template :
· Change my name on the title page to your name.
· Change the title in the heading on the title page, on the title page, and on the heading. (To do that, click “Insert,” then “heading” and then the heading area will open up for you to make changes to it. Or, double click the heading of the document and it should open.)
· Delete the page three content, and add your own.
