EXPERIMENT 1: CLASSIFICATION OF BONES Bones are classified by two characteristics: shape and location. In this exercise, you will use the virtul model to determine the classification of the specified bones.

PROCEDURE 1. Begin by observing the virtual model. Select ten bones on the skeleton (your choice) and describe them in Table 6.

2. Use Table 5 in the Introduction to classify the shape of each bone you selected. Record the shape in Table 6.

3. Next, classify each bone based on its location (axial or appendicular). Record your findings in Table 6.
