The company I want to create is oriented with being a consultant to companies on how to adjust their companies and implement those changes ….
1. Centralization and decentralization: What functions should be centralized? Where should decision making be decentralized?
1. All of the functions will be centralized, as the company will be operating from one location until it expands. Once the company expands the decentralized decision making will be dependent on the departments and what steps management at those locations will take before reaching out to the headquarters
2. Span of control: Will your organization have a wide or narrow span of control? How many management and leadership roles do you anticipate for your organization?
1. Wide span of control, along with narrow span of control, will be dependent from department to department and adjusted accordingly.
2. Each department will have a head of the department who the subordinates will report to.
3. Division of labor: What jobs require deep specialization? Which require low specialization?
1. Deep specialization would be the department heads and low specialization would be the entry level positions.
What are the major divisions of your organization and what are they responsible for?
Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service (you can search for these to give some definitions what each one does)
How many employees work in each division, and how are divisions structured?
Customer Service would be the biggest one that would be adjustable (5 to 10 employees to start)
All of the other departments would have 3 to 5 employees that may increase depending on the company success.
All will have a department head; customer service will be having one team lead per shift available to help the representatives with any questions

Where teams may be required, if at all.
· Teams would be required to brainstorm how to help the customers implement the changes and what changes need to be done
Would you have any integrative roles? Why, and what would those roles accomplish?
· No there would be no integrative roles as of right now
Would a matrix organization be appropriate? Why or why not? What dimensions of the matrix would you select?
