Research/Annotated Bibliography

The Research Assignment is as follows: 1.   Select a topic of your choice that relates to marriage, family or intimate relationships.  You may choose from the topics below or come up with your own. 2.   Use four (4) sources and write an annotated bibliography. You must write a paragraph for each source.  At  least three (3) sources must be from refereed (scholarly) journals but one can be from a popular source (magazine or newspaper.)  3.   Your references must be written in American Sociological Association format.  (Google American Sociological Association and browse to find examples and information about how to cite ASA sources.) 4.  The final paper should be equivalent to 2 ½ - 3 pages long, double-spaced.  Make sure the articles are relevant to the topic you have chosen. Do not select more than one topic on which to focus your research. You must adhere to rules of writing, including grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc. 5.  Discuss the findings from your research in relation to concepts and/or theories from your textbook. Your research findings may support, refute, or reflect a combination of the two in your discussion of the textbook concepts and theories. List and discuss the two (2) most interesting things you gained from your research. Some ideas for research are:
