Child Neglect Article Review

You must identify a minimum of 5 research articles obtained from the online databases for the Annotated Bibliography. You will need one blank grid for each article. The table will expand as you write. MORE information is better than less. This grid is designed to assess your understanding of the article and as a tool for you when writing your final paper. In other words, they serve as notes for you when you do your paper and a way for me to gage your understanding of the article.

The annotation should do three things: Summarize the article, point out what is important about it, and provide criticisms or point out shortcomings. It should also include the following specific elements.

1. APA Citation (this will save you lots of time when you are completing your final Literature Review)

2. What is the article about?

3. Summary of the article.

4. Why was this research performed?

5. What were the findings?

6. What are the strengths of the article?

7. What are the weaknesses?

8. What are the implications for practice within your respective field or area of interest?
