Annotated Bibliography Assignment

ECHS 1302

Fall 2018

Instructions: An annotated bibliography is a summary and evaluation of credible sources. Each student will select a specific topic related to themes explored in the novel Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. For this assignment, you must create one document that includes at least 3 sources you found about your topic. Each source must include a citation, a summary and a short analysis explaining how it relates to your specific topic.

Note: The topics listed below are broad and may be difficult to research. You will need to develop a more specific research question or idea under the umbrella of this broad topic. This will narrow your focus and help you gather sources that relate to one another and answer your research question.

Annotated bibliographies list sources in alphabetical order and in proper MLA format. Please pay attention to the samples provided on Blackboard for specific formatting instructions.

Students may turn in annotated articles in class on Monday 9/24 to replace their lowest discussion/quiz grade.

Points possible: 100 (10% of your grade)

Due Date: Sunday 9/23/18 11:59PM

Topics explored in Station Eleven:
