In this article it is stated that addiction is being looked at as being a disorder of the brain rather than being known as an issue in behavior. This new statement was released after some extensive studies were done by around some 80 experts. It also talks about how addiction is a primary disease. It is not caused from emotional and or psychiatric problems.

In this article the author talks about how addiction is a disease. It goes into some great details as to how back in the day when an individual was said to have a disease with addiction they were looked at as being weird and or different. Now they are looked at as being sick. It also talks about how it became known as a disease has actually went ahead and made for the facts of addiction to be evaded.

This journal goes into some details about how some doctors went ahead and allowed for a few people to dope up while in sports to see if they would become addicted and to see if it would lead to some sort of disorder. It also looks to see if it is more of a moral responsibility.

This article goes into some really great facts on addiction being more of a disorder than anything else. It talks about a study that was done with people who have PTSD and addictions and what the outcomes were for those individuals. This will be a great journal to being forth a tone of factual information.

The peer reviewed article talks about how culture seems to be increasingly conceptualizing the fact that deviant behavior in addiction is a result of a disease. It goes into some great details on a study done to see what the outcome for people was who had an addiction.
