The Carnivore’s Dilemma.” The New York Times, 2009

According to the article, there is an increase in the demand for meat not only in the US but also globally. To sustain the increased demand for meat, more animals have to be slaughtered in the world. Although meat is nutritious, the increasing demand for meat will lead to the reduction of the animals in the world, which would lead to adverse effects on the globe. Thus, people should turn to plant-based foods. The article supports veganism as a way of life. That is because, through veganism, people can still gain the nutrients that they seek from plant-based foods and also save the animals. Thus, the article contains information that is relevant to the topic under study. Thus, it will be used to supplement the information from the other sources.

Zink, Katherine D. and Lieberman, Daniel E. “Impact of meat and lowe Palaeolithic Food Processing Techniques on Chewing in Human”. Nature, 09 March 2016

Paleolithic foods are foods that were consumed in the past and could be obtained through hunting and gathering. This article investigates the effects of the processing techniques that are used to process meat and other paleolithic foods. The article identified cooking as one of the ways to increase the efficacy of the food. Although in the past cooking was not common, it has increased the effectiveness of the food. For instance, well-cooked food ensures that the bacteria in the food is killed thus it is healthy for a person. The article will be used to supplement the information gathered from the other articles. That is because it is related to the topic. However, the article does not put much emphasis on the need for veganism.
