In her article, Bazile emphasizes on the need for individuals to have self-love. She writes that most people tend to overlook self-love as they start on their daily activities. People are likely to showing negativity to their lives. Therefore, she calls for the need for people to take time and value their bodies and offer them the best. She further argues how important the human body is, by examining the way she came to realize the need of offering her body the best. In the end, people should consume as well as involved in activities that are likely to improve the quality of their lives.

2. Bowman, Shanthy A., et al. "Effects of fast-food consumption on energy intake and diet quality among children in a national household survey." Pediatrics 113.1 (2004): 112-118.

Bowman highlight that junk food has become a popular feature of the current population all over the world. The authors state that people are more careless in what they take on a daily basis. However, the fast food has a variety of negative effects to the body. Upon carrying out a study, the researcher found out that junk food is not of any importance to the body, but a threat to leading an unhealthy lifestyle. In this regard, people who want to maintain a healthy body must pay more attention to the food they will be taken. This will enable them to maintain a healthy body.

3. Kenney, W. Larry, Jack Wilmore, and David Costill. Physiology of sport and exercise 6th edition. Human kinetics, 2015.

In the book, Physiology of Sport and Exercise, describe the importance of exercise and training to the human body. The author considers the human body to be a complex machine with a variety of cells, tissues, systems, and organs. The body, having many systems requires regular duty in exercises to keep each of its components fit to improve its performance. The authors’ major goal and idea in the book are to make people understand the performance of the body and the importance of exercises in maintaining a healthy body. Physical exercises are important to each and every individual, as they help in maintaining a healthy body. In this regard, those who engage in regular exercises are likely to lead a healthy lifestyle.

4. Rail, Kevin. "The Effects Of Smoking & Alcohol On The Body." Livestrong, 2018, https://www.livestrong.com/article/265248-the-effects-of-smoking-alcohol-on-the-body/.

In Rail Kevin article, The effects of Smoking and Alcohol on the Body notes that drinking and smoking are lifestyles that are highly criticized under the health industry. Lifestyles are connected with a variety of complications in the body, including life-threatening. The author further explains that, as far as moderate drinking is allowed, there is a need for people to totally avoid that lifestyle, as it is likely to destroy one's body. The major diseases brought about as a result of drinking and smoking behavior include emphysema, lung cancer, and high blood pressure among others. The authors conclude by asking people to consider the several effects of drinking and smoking to their bodies before engaging in such.

Conclusion

I chose the above articles for my essay, because they have strong ideas that supports my arguments regarding the importance of life. For instance, Bowman supports the essay by describing how junk food is destroying the human body. Further, Bazile poses for the need of self-love. Similarly, Kenny et al. offer the benefits associated with physical exercises. Finally, Rail describes the effects of smoking and drinking to the human body. All these articles tries to emphasize the need for people to value themselves by leading a healthy lifestyle, hence contributing to thesis of the essay.
