The study contains crucial information on the positional behavior of pygmy marmosets, where it concludes that the animal apply claw-climbing. The research further shows how claw-climbing in pygmy marmosets is a solution and a mechanism for the animal to overcome the constraints of its small body size. Furthermore, it also has information which suggests that quadrupedalism is pygmy marmosets’ habitat-dependent locomotive mode.
