This article is explaining reasons why women are more than likely are making less than men. This is helpful for my article because of a counterclaim. Women have kids and work less hour than men of that such. It also mention myths that are said about he pay gap. The first myth is that women don’t deserve equal pay because (take your pick) they don’t work as hard, as long, as productively, or face work environments that are as difficult or dangerous. The second myth, that women don’t need equal pay, derives from the general belief that someone a father or husband is supporting a woman and her children.

This article is credible because the link their sources throughout the paper which where all government approved sites. It help with my paper because it gives me information on the exact amount of money woman was paid less than men throughout the pass few years. “it’s not just the pay gap that should concern women. It is also the wealth gap. On average, women in the United States own a mere 32 cents to every dollar owned by men. Wealth of course is accumulated in many ways, so while the pay gap matters here, closing the wealth gap requires more than women negotiating higher salaries and receiving larger paychecks.
