Explain what the problem is "How to Protect Yourself and Others.". (2020, September 11). Retrieved October 5, 2020, from Center for Disease Control and Prevention: CDC.com WHAT: The Center for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC] has created a comprehenisve
Web site that provides the general public with information about the virus Covid, how it spreads, as well as how to prevent the spread of this deadly disease. In addition to providing basic hygiene to stay healthy, it also provided detailed instructions for social distancing, wearing protection as well as cleaning a place of dwelling. The CDC also includes, detailed information for those people who may be residing with a person who has contracted this illness. The site also includes scientific information about the virus and containment procedures. EXAMPLE: One interesting bits of information within the sits is the social distancing guidelines that the CDC notes that all Americans should practice. One in particular is a 6 feet distance between individuals whoa re unmasked. WHY/WHERE: Within the research paper, there will be a body paragraph that offers readers solutions to prevent this virus from spreading. The paper emphasizes the importance of everyone practicing the CDC guidelines to flatten the curve. CROSS Reference: Used in conjunction with the web link found on the World Health Organization website, the two resources will demonstrate to readers how valid these guidelines are on a global scale. The USA is but one country who should be following these rules.
"When and How to Use Masks.". (n.d.). Retrieved October 05, 2020, from World Health Organization: https://www.who.int
WHAT: World Health Organization [WHO] has a link to inforamtion regarding the wearing of masks, the materials one should use to make masks, how to make a mask, as well as several pages that explain the differentiation of medical masks, chilren’s masks, and masks for every day citizens. EXAMPLE: There are two links on this page that show the viewer videos instructions on how to make homemade masks. This ensures that people who do not have access to store bought masks can still protect themselves from the virus. WHY/WHERE: This is a rebuttal (or the refutation) of the argument that those people who cannot afford masks, should not have to use one. In the research paper this information will be used to negate the claims of a counter argument and those opposed to a mandated mask law. CROSS Reference Used in conjunction with The CDC’s links concerning how to stop the spread of this disease, these websites will be use to demonstrate to the reader that every citizen has the power to help stop spread this virus.
