 Service Oriented Architecture

Service oriented architecture is an approach for distributed systems architecture that employs loosely coupled services, protocols and standard interfaces to deliver smooth cross platforms integration. It integrates divergent components by contributing them with a regular interface and a set with protocols for them to communicate through what is called a service bus. SOA primarily comes from software development. SOA permits different services to communicating using a loose coupling system to coordinate and activity or to pass data. The most important thing about SOA to businesses is service re-usability or composability, they can be endlessly reused composed and re composed into new configurations.

The most important thing for a business is generating revenue with SOA you don’t have to start from scratch each time, with service reusability or composability, you can reuse to make multiple applications. SOA service are held in a service respiratory and linked on demand creating each service a generalized resource available to everyone. Reusing services permits companies to save a lot of time and lower costs. There is no reason to re innovate the coding wheel every time you need to produce a brand-new process or service. When you use service-oriented architecture you definitely reduce cost, you still reduce cost while sustaining a desired level of output. SOA permits companies to limit the quantity analysis required when creating custom solutions. SOA reduces on the client service integration which permits for a higher scalability.

I chose this diagram because it shows before and after SOA that is what companies need to see they have to see how much better their company will run with SOA, I also felt like it provides enough information about SOA in both development in business perspective and it is explained in laymen’s terms the diagram is simple and short it also emphasizes on reusable business services, I felt like the other 2 diagram were very simple and did not explain enough. The third diagram is listed out in a flow chart that makes it easier to understand when compared to having it explained to someone in a written way.
