Sell the business to another business
Initial Public Offering (IPO)
The Exit Strategy is an entrepreneur’s strategic plan to sell his or her business to investors or to another business. This strategy gives the business owner the opportunity to either reduce his or her stake in the business and if the business is profitable, the owner can make a significant profit. There are different types of exit strategy, such as, liquidation which involves closing the business and selling all its assets. Keeping the business in the family is many small business owners dream where their legacy continues and provides good living for their families. Selling the business to another business is another way to exit the business. A competitor may be very motivated to buy the business which results in a quick sale with a maximum profit. The IPO exit strategy can be profitable more for bigger companies, but it can be a long and costly process.

Timeline for when the exit strategy may take place
The exit strategy for ourselves involves selling the business to another business who maybe interested in buying our company as a quicker way to expand to their business or to simply buying out their competition. Our exit strategy includes a list of potential other businesses that might be interested in buying our company. The business’ value will be calculated to determine a fair and reasonable selling price. We will also provide a timeline for when an exit strategy will be implemented.

Investor’s Exit Strategy
Buy the Investor’s share of the business
When one of our investors decides to exit and leave the business, the exit strategy we will use is to buy their share of the business.
