INTRODUCTION
I’m currently six years away from being able to retire from the US Army. Week 2 assignment is giving me ahead start on researching what on career will be best for me after my retirement. The career I’m choosing is Project Manager. “Project Managers typically work for corporations across industries in a variety of different specialties like information technology, marketing or product engineering” Indeed Jobs.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT THE SKILLS I THAT POSSESS
A few skills that make me a great ideal candidate for the business management role are:
* Leadership skills
* Communication skills
* Problem- solving skills
* Management skills
The Army receives an annual report card. Within my first report card my senior leads described my skills as having interpersonal skills, decision making, and technical expertise directly enabled the unit to provide uninterrupted logistical support to the Brigade during this rating period. My operations SSA was personally recognized for excellence from senior commands including FORSCOM, III Corps, and 1ID. I’m known as a leader with solutions and an amazing networker.
