Introduction

Lesson Scope

The outcome of this lesson, is to help learners write an analytical essay. As a result, learners will have the ability to write about problems from historical, philosophical, rhetorical and/or cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspectives. The lesson’s intent is to aid learners in becoming a cohesive staff member. This lesson links to all following lessons.

Learning Objective

Action: Prepare an analytical essay.

Condition: As a learner in an Enterprise classroom or virtual environment, given access to an electronic journal, ADP 6-0, Operation Anaconda Case Study, grading rubric, Purdue OWL website, handouts, learning activities, classroom discussions, and multimedia resources.

Standard: Prepare an analytical essay utilizing the seven principles of mission command in a clear and concise manner.

Writing Your Essay

Analyze and evaluate the major points of your case study for research utilizing the seven principles of mission command utilizing the Operation Anaconda Case Study. Use your time to develop a deep understanding of your topic to fully explain your analysis. You are required to give an in-depth introduction of your topic.

Develop the body of the paper fully using not less than three full pages and no more than five pages. Provide transitional sentences from one topic to the next. Gather one additional reference for your essay. Ensure you use Times New Roman 12 point font and the current APA writing style.
