1. Duarte Geraldino, the TED Talk speaker, argues, “When the social circles are weakened, a country itself is weaker. We’re missing a crucial aspect in the debate about immigration policy.” Explain the aspect that Geraldino is referring to.

2. Think of people in your family, friends, school, work, extracurricular activities, social groups, clubs, church, and others, and list of all of the people you are connected to.

3. If immigration policies changed and you were forced to go back to your home country, how would your deportation affect your social circles? How many people would be affected?

4. How is Geraldino contributing to keep social circles together? What is his actional step?
