Introduction

The criminal justice in the United States is traced back from the early days even before the colonial period when the citizens were subjected to rules and laws of the British powers. American criminal justice consists of the network of several criminal justice systems at the state, federal and some national courts. There is the variation of the criminal laws at each of the three levels.

The criminal justice at federal level deals with the civil related cases. The process of handling of the facts in the in the states goes around all the unique judicial systems. The legal justice is a rebased on the coordinated tasks of some of its administrative region ensuring that all the offenders repent and pay for any of their criminal activities. The policing rule style and functions in the United States is facilitated by at least eighteen thousand federal states, city and local departments, (Sunshine and Tyler, 2003

The law enforcement authorities enjoy the powers given to them by the United States Code. The officers of the laws try to enforce laws at federal states. Since the time the United States patriot act was passed, the national investigative powers broadened regarding its practices. The county police still exist in the countries especially in urban zones of the United States where minor cases are handled in the local courthouses. The county police include the limited service, full service, and the limited service. The full service operates in the entire country while the controlled functions perform road control. The limited service serves in incorporated areas. (Sunshine and Tyler, 2003).

Conclusion

The criminal justice in states allows for the arresting of the offenders, collect the preserving proof and give the reports starting with the investigation. The adjudication of any criminal case calls for the court process. Texas Department of the criminal justice is where justice law is created.
