Executive Summary

This proposal designs and executes the IT framework for Mamma's Bakery and Sandwich

Shoppe. The IT framework will help improve business tasks and operations to develop a

premium framework for point-of-sale, inventory, accounting, and other business purposes. This

system will help her communicate with her service chain suppliers and other business

connections. We will also utilize third-party apps to place orders for delivery and pick up through

her new website for the store. The equipment and essential organization hardware will be

introduced and set up for the business. To improve efficiency and its processes to fulfill

Mamma's vision to create a comfortable, grander environment and, most importantly, UpToDate

with the latest technology for her staff and customers. Therefore, the Project management group

will outline resources, timelines, constraints, and training for the new IT framework.

Project Scope

The task extent of this IT project is to design, plan, construct, and execute an IT system

for Mamma's Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe. This will consider the modernization of her

business and for Mamma and the workers to streamline support for the tasks side.

The financial plan will cover the creation and execution of the IT framework. At present there is

no PC foundation or any organization abilities. The accompanying expectations are characterized

in the following segment.

An IT group will be recruited to deal with the execution of the IT framework for the shop. A Wi-

Fi /Internet supplier will introduce Internet association utilizing the suitable organization LAN

equipment and gear. The shop will be set up with PCs in the workplace of the shop. The PCs will

be introduced with Windows OS and any suitable programming fundamental. A site will be made

for Mamma's Bakery Sandwich Shoppe which will assist with marketing the business just as lets

customers place orders for pick-up and delivery. There will likewise be a risk management set

up. Prepare modules gave to train Mamma and her staff. From

the case Scenario, Mamma Mia's assumption that the IT system should be modern, easy and user

friendly to both customers and employees (Case Scenario, 2021)

Excluded from scope:

All furniture, kitchen appliances required. Basic interior design materials. As this is just an IT

system installation.

Schedule – The project's estimated determined time is six months. Brian Weiss says, "Project

managers need to be transparent in discussing their initiatives with leadership and be able to

frame their communications appropriately for executives at all levels" (Weiss, 2016).

Funding – Mamma indicated her budget for the IT system is $100000.

Resources – From the case study

 There is no networking, LAN, or Internet installed

 Internet connectivity is available in the area, whether via ISP or satellite

Our primary stakeholder is Mamma Mia as she is the owner and project sponsor.

Furthermore, Mamma Mia will clarify requirements for the project. Our external stakeholders

would be the bakery staff and customers. As they would be utilizing our system on a daily basis.

available before start of project.

Project Completion

After ensuring all items on the IT system works efficiently our team will conduct a

debrief with stakeholder with final deliverance of the product. We will also send out an exit

survey 30 days after project execution to ensure Mamma Mia’s bakery will utilize our services

for future projects. According to Peter Taylor (in his book Real Project Management: The Skills

and Capabilities You Will Need for Successful Project Delivery), a successful project is a

completed project that is signed-off by the sponsor.
