Purpose The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your understanding and proper application of the Army Writing Style and knowledge of AMEDD History.

Topic

The mission of the AMEDD Regiment has enhanced combat effectiveness by developing loyalty and commitment, fostering an extended sense of belonging, improving unit esprit de corps, and institutionalizing the warfighting ethos.

Select two of the eight Corps within the AMEDD. Write two paragraphs, one describing their heritage and the second identifying their contributions to the AMEDD and/or the battlefield.

1. Utilizing the DA Letterhead template provided in blackboard, write a MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD for the topic above. Your memorandum must: -follow the guidelines in AR 25-50 -be a minimum of 2 body paragraphs -include a Point of Contact line -use NCOA-DL for the office symbol Use your home station address for the letterhead. Do not include a reference paragraph, suspense date, or ARIMS record number. 2. Upload and submit your memo as a MS Word document for grading in blackboard. Verify that you have uploaded the correct document before clicking submit. Only one attempt is authorized for this assignment.
