Amazon Code of Ethics

The employees of Amazon are provided with a code of conduct that they should follow when executing their job obligations. This ensures that workers act ethically and look out for Amazon's best interests. All interactions inside the company are required to comply with fundamental ethical standards (Kang & Jang, 2022). The five guiding principles considered to be the most essential for relationships are outlined in the fundamental ethical code. The general site conduct guidelines are the most significant of the five basic policies because they give a behavioral framework for employees to follow to maximize the effectiveness of their interactions with one another. In addition, the concept stipulates a moral code that governs the conduct of employee engagement and demonstrates an appreciation for the variety of their firm. Establishing a culture that encourages good communication is the concept that is considered the second biggest principle. The principle makes it possible for employees to articulate themselves freely within the organization without worrying that they would be intimidated (Rae, 2021). The idea of the relationship between employees and customers and management is the third most important in Amazon’s Code of ethics.

Although these restrictions are kept to a minimum, there is an increased focus on avoiding conflicting interests. There is an intensified level of concern regarding whether or not Amazon employees' interests do not supersede the company's overall objectives. The need to conduct business prudently is emphasized throughout the company's ethical framework, and employees are required to adhere to the legislation designed to guarantee that they do not compromise with the company's operation.
