The incorporation of Amazon happened in 1994. Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos. After its incorporation, Amazon launched its online business in 1995 where it targeted selling books to its clientele using the online platform. Before Amazon chose to use its current name, its initial name was Cadabra. Due to the mispronunciation of the name by many of the consuming population, a decision was made to make its name Amazon. (Flat World Business, 2011)

Amazon understands its market and knows the best approach that it can use to stay ahead of its competitors. It has managed to this through the application of the right techniques in its competitive advantage. Amazon provides value to its customers by giving them the services that hey request for. A good example is before it chose to offer other products to its customers besides books. Its customers requested for other services and this reason, Amazon chose to offer to them what they ask for. The company prioritizes its customer before anything else. Unlike Amazon’s competitors, its diversification of the products it offers to the market allows it to cover a wider market to grow its client base. For this reason, it manages to stay one step ahead of its customers. (Flat World Business, 2011)

Amazon manages to be on business because of its ability to offer diverse products for its clients at affordable and cheaper prices. Amazon promotes its products by allowing various brands that offer their products on its platform to promote their products on its platform. To cover a wider market than its competitors has its operation in more than 10 countries. Because of its love for its customers, the company uses the information it gathers from its customers to initiate new products. Through the use of the 5 Ps, Amazon has managed to gain a competitive advantage over its competitors. (Business.gov, 2019)

Conclusion

Amazon has been on the right track since it got into business with its clientele. Today Amazon is one of the best companies that are doing amazingly. The future of Amazon is going to be incredible because the company is going to grow more than it has in the coming years. This can be achieved through the appreciation of innovation like it already does.
