Parabens are believed to disrupt hormone function by mimicking oestrogen. Too much oestrogen can trigger an increase in breast cell division and growth of tumours, which is why paraben use has been linked to breast cancer and reproductive issues. Parabens are used in a wide variety of cosmetics, as well as in foods and drugs. Cosmetics that may contain parabens include makeup, moisturizers, hair care products, and shaving products, among others. Many major brands of deodorants do not currently contain parabens, although some may. I chose Lemongrass Spa because I really believe in their product simply because of the natural ingredients used in making them. A long time ago I started breaking out while using several different products so I started investigating what went in to producing them. I learned quickly of the many chemicals that once you start adding up to other types of products we use to smell good, and keep our skin moisturized, the amount of parabens we let our bodies consume can be very harmful to us.

What do you think are the three major trends in your chosen company that have the potential to impact the marketing of their products?
