Introductory Paragraphs

Work on finding a quote that you can use for your introductory paragraph that is relevant to your essay. Remember last week you wrote 5 thesis statements. I now want you to pick the topic you like best as that is the one you will be using for final essay assignment in this class. For this week’s assignment you will find a relevant quote that was said by someone famous (president / First Lady/ Actor / Author or song writer and use it in your first sentence for your introductory paragraph. Then, once you have that quote for your first sentence you will write the next three sentences which help to explain why that quote is relevant to the topic you will be writing about. Then, for sentence 5, you will write the thesis statement that you wrote last week.
