The War of Independence

During American Revolution, the war was about different people trying to achieve their interests either by participating in the revolution or by not participating. An example of the group that did not participate because they would be affected negatively is the Indians because the British protected them and hence when they are send way during revolution, the Indians will not have anyone to protect them. So, they decided not to participate in revolution because they were trying to protect their interests. There are those who participated in the revolution because they wanted to achieve their interests meaning that all those who participated had their own interests that they wanted to achieve. Even though they did a revolution as a team, each of them had desires that they wanted, and these desires drove them to participate in the revolution.

Among the group of people who participated in revolution wanted to own lands and since they were promised that after revolution, they will be given pieces of lands, they joined in the revolution. Majority of those who joined in the war were promised good life after the revolution and since they desired good lives, they joined in the revolution. The war therefore was about sending the British away so that the Americans can have what they desire because they were promised that once the British has left, it will be possible for everyone to achieve what they had desired for long. Those who mobilized people to join in the revolution wanted to send the British away, so that they can take the leadership of the nation from the British leaders.
