A kind of Revolution?

There is something else behind the traditional history that we teach ourselves and children because some truths are hidden while others that are told are changed to make them appear good to the learners. The sensitive information to the society is hidden like in this case where the learners are told that the constitution of 1787 was prepared to protect all the citizens regardless of their social class, race and gender is meant to hide the truth that those who prepared the constitution were trying to protect their interests. Therefore, learners will appreciate the work of those who actually prepared the constitution; they do not care about all Americans. If learners are told the truth, they will stop appreciating the work of those who prepared the constitution and therefore to make them thank them for their good work, the truth is hidden, and the information taught is changed.

The other reason is that those who are reading the history and were not protected by the constitution will not like history since it shows them what their great parents went through. To ensure therefore that history does not affect any learner, then any sensitive information is omitted and some of the details are changed. The history being taught is aimed at reflecting the authority that cared of all Americans even when the government did not have the interest of the less privileged in the society. When learners realize that the government was concerned with all the citizens, they will always appreciate the leadership of the nation hence the reason why history is made reflect that the authorities cared about all the citizens.
