This does not have to be APA style except for the title page and reference page. Think about making this a handout that is visually appealing and easy to read/understand. Remember, this will be given to families as a guide with local resources and services. Keep it brief. Pay attention to font size, colors, and text (easy to read).

If I were working with a homeless family in need of food, I may only give out 1 page that has information about an agency that provides food. The family may not need information about the other 3 agencies. So, you want to include as much info. as possible on each agency page while being concise. Think of each agency page as its own handout.

***You may want to include this in your portfolio while applying for jobs as an example of a resource you have created.

· Who is the family population?

· How many families are in the region of choice or US

· Unique characteristics of the family population

· Unique challenges the family population faces

· Unique needs of the family population

· Location chosen to focus on (for example, “The following 4 agencies are located within the Hampton Roads area VA and serve families experiencing homelessness.”)
