Read the attachment about Xerox and a product they called the Alta.  Write a couple of paragraphs that answer the following questions.

1.  Based on what we've covered in lecture 2, describe how you think the company was organized before the Alta was created.  In the few years after its creation, do you think the organizational components of the company changed?

2.  Do you think the company culture changed before or after the Alta that might have explained why they missed out on this opportunity?

If you think about this, it's one of the biggest "swings and miss" the business community has ever witnessed.
