1. Is mental health a serious crime related problem in your community or is it a public health issue, or both? Explain

2. Regarding mental health issue profiled in the video, should police resources be dedicated to addressing this issue? Explain.

3. Who else other than police should be involved with mental health consumers who are engaged in crime or require a police response? Remember, it is not a crime to require mental health interventions.

4. Under what circumstances should mental health consumers be arrested and under what circumstances should they be diverted to other interventions? Or if you believe they should be arrested for committing any crime, explain.
