Although the abstract is in the front matter (title page, table of contents, etc) it is written last. Do not confuse an abstract with an introduction. A well written abstract is concise and to the point. In 150 to 250 words, the abstract describes the problem, summarizes the plan, and highlights the implications and suggestions for future study. At this point, you have been exposed to numerous abstracts, nevertheless, if you have any questions about formatting or what to include please post them in the “Project Questions” area.
