Mission Hospital is one of the Healthcare organization which is situated within City of California
It is one of the largest healthcare facility since it uses the latest technology in its operations and also it has employed the best physicians and nurses around the country.
Being state of the art it has 523 beds as an acute care and regional medical centre in Mission Viejo at California.
It has all the specialist of the services in healthcare and those are highly skilled in treatment of many conditions which gives it an upper hand as compared to other healthcare facilities around the area.
The External Environment
The are a number of external factors which are set to affect this organization This factors are set to hinder it from attaining its goals in the market.
Some of these factors might include things such as technological advancing, changes in political temperature as well as social changes.
In order to adopt to this environment, there is need for Mission Hospital to ensure that it has followed everything to the later in order to avoid any form of disruption in its operations.
For instance, there is need for it to consider the set out States and Federal laws which are likely to affects its operations.
The other thing is that the society within which the company does its operations means a lot, for the management, there is need to come up with measures which will ensure that it meets the societal needs (Rad & Anantatmula, 2010).
External environment ought to be looked at addressed with a lot of concern since it can either have a negative or a positive effect on a company’s operations.
Market Research and Segmentation
Research conducted in the market shows that more than 90% California Residents have a health coverage.
Most of them are either insured with the use of a Medicaid or a Medicare plan which are provided by both the federal and the local government.
The best segmentation approach which needs to use a combine approach whereby it will be set to use both beneficial and description segmentations towards its target audience.
Mission Hospital should be in a place to ensure that this two forms of segmentations helps it when it comes to attainment of its goals.

The older members of the society are seen to call for greater healthcare care for the older men in the society who might be suffering from socially or physically.
Research conducted shows that the older generation are more prone to a number of diseases due to the age factor.
Therefore to take care of their wellbeing, there is a need to ensure that we take care of them both socially, physically and emotionally for them to remain strong.
Organizational Structures and Functions
An organization structure is defined as a system which is used when it comes to defining of hierarchy within an organization
For a healthcare organization, there is need to have a system so that it will have an easy running of the healthcare operations
For the case of Mission Hospital there is a s need to have the C.E.O who is set to ensure all the departments are functioning as expected.
The other crucial aspect of management is supervision. There is need for Mission Hospital to Have supervisors who are set to ensure that everything is done as expected and within the workplace expectations.
Having such structures in place is set to help the organization in attainment of its goals.

Finance and Budgeting
Finance and budgeting are considered to be some of the crucial aspects when it comes to a healthcare organization.
Finance ensures that a business is in a place to run its functions effectively and efficiently without any form of disruption in its business activities.
For the case of Mission Hospital, we are set to ensure that it has got the right resources to run its operations smoothly and efficiently.
For the case of management, we need to have a focus on subsidizing the healthcare service costs so that we will be in a position to attract a great number of patients seeking for the services.
Quality, Ethical, and IT Controls
Conflicts of interest avoidance. Nurses and doctors are the main target to be promoted from the pharmaceutical, manufacturing of equipments and medical devices.
Balancing the service to patient with the profit.. Organization of the Healthcare must be able to balance their books to be able to keep their doors open.
providing charity care. Doctors and nurses should treat the patient with care and also in a better way.
Quality, Ethical, and IT Controls
Quality is not just considered as a popular phrase but we can define it as a value-based approach for improvement of healthcare services.
For the case of Mission Hospital, the health outcomes for the patients are considered to be more important since they demonstrate the effectiveness of the healthcare
Ethics is another important factor when it comes to provision of healthcare services, the top management of Mission Hospital need to have an ethical code of conduct which needs to be followed by all the employees.
With regard to IT controls, there is need for Mission hospital to automate its operations so that it will be in a better position to compete with rivals in the market and also ensure that its operations are running as expected.

Conclusions and Recommendations
In the City of California especially in Viejo, there is a need to establish a healthcare organization which suites the needs as well as the expectations of the locals
The other major concern for Mission Hospital would to ensure that we have the right form of medication and ensure that there is a significant reduction of the referral and re-admission cases.
The other move for Mission Hospital is to ensure that it has got the right technology which is either ahead or similar to those of the peers who are operating in the same market.
Mission Hospital is also aiming to capitalize on its human capital such as physicians and nurses. It is aiming at acquiring the best talents in the market who are in a place to deliver optimally.
