Interstate Batteries of Miami is an established B2B company with a genuine desire to bring the very best product to the marketplace partnered with the best service. We are looking for someone proficient in all aspects of accounting: including accounts payables, accounts receivables, and full charge bookkeeper. The ideal candidate must have QuickBooks experience and a minimum of two years with bank reconciliations. This position is expected to provide detailed support to our CEO. This candidate must have the ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information.
Record day to day financial transactions File and pay sales and use tax on a monthly basis Prepare deposits Process accounts payable and receivables through QuickBooks Plans and organizes - Lays out game plan in a logical and orderly sequence. Establishes and follows through on priorities. Results oriented - Is intent upon achieving practical results. Concentrates attention on making things happen. Initiative - Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked to or required by the situation. Skills: Proven bookkeeping experience and must be a multitasker Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records Must have proficiency in QuickBooks Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers and must be computer proficient Proficient in all Microsoft Office Program including Excel Must be a professional and detail oriented Excellent Customer service High degree of accuracy and attention to detail -BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or, Equivalent to a minimum of 3 years working in Accounting, QuickBooks, MS Excel, etc. Full Background check and drug testing is performed upon hire Benefits: Annual Salary: $45,000-50,000 We pay 200.00 a month toward your life, health and dental plan. One-week paid vacation after your first year with us Work schedule 8am-5pm Monday-Friday 40 hour week plus option of overtime of 5 hours a week Professional and private office dedicated to your work position
